Nasreen M. Adem

Founder and Managing Partner

She is responsible for the strategic guidance and execution of ACE work through a hands-on collaboration with clients, partners and teams in a creative, efficient and equitable manner. She directs the firm’s efforts toward a strategic execution by combining content-rich project management with strategic thinking to assist clients in reaching their objectives. These roles and skills were developed through her 10+ years work experience and proven track record in private sector development and public institutions advisory.
She brings a range of skills in policy design and implementation, multi-stakeholder partnership management, transaction and strategic advisory, good governance and institutional frameworks and human capital development.

Nasreen previously worked at various international and local organizations including Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, Made in Africa Initiative, Ernst & Young-Ethiopia, Kifiya Financial Technology and Precise Consult International. Nasreen holds a BA in Economics from Arba Minch University.

Aida Erkihun

Co-founder and Principal Partner

Aida has 10 years of experience in strategic advisory, sector development, policy design and implementation, institutional capacity development, stakeholder management and Assessment of infrastructure development projects.

At ACE Advisors, Aida is responsible for managing clients, strategic program design and execution and managing the team to ensure effective and tailored service delivery to clients. Aida has accumulated substantive experience across multiple sectors in advising and supporting public institutions and the private sector to deliver on their priorities.

Aida has previously worked with The International Finance Corporation (IFC), Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBIGC), LG Electronics and CORE Consulting Engineers.
Aida holds an MSc in International Development form University of Manchester, an MSW from Addis Ababa University and a BA degree in Sociology and Social Work from Jimma University.

Dawit Ayele

Senior advisor

Dawit has more than twelve years of experience working as a consultant, policy analyst, and strategic advisor to help public and private sector actors achieve new performance heights, formulate growth strategies, and accelerate delivery.

Dawit is a senior advisor at ACE Advisors. He is responsible for ensuring delivery and managing the team of consultants to design and execute solutions tailored to client needs.
He has twelve years of experience with national and international organizations focusing on economic development, operational and organizational transformations, and growth strategies in the agriculture, industry, energy, and finance sectors with a proven track record of success.

Dawit has worked with the Ethiopian Ministry of Finance, the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency, Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and Agence Française de Développement (AFD).

Mesay Girma

Associate

Mesay has seven years of experience specializing in designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating social-economic development policies, systems, and programs involving private and public sector industries and institutions. Mesay has worked on over fifteen large and medium scale assessments and evaluations of development interventions across various policy goals. Mesay has partaken in multiple evaluation projects while working for AZ Associates as a Research Fellow and Research Associate. He led the research department at Inform Africa as a Research and Development Specialist. He also has contract work experience with various local and international organizations including, North-East Policy Think-tank, Ethiopian Human Rights Commission, LonAdd, Volontariato Internazionale per lo Sviluppo (VIS), Agulhas and Node consultancy.

Mesay is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and delivery of impact with the support of the Lead Advisor under assigned workstreams.

Mesay holds a BA degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Human and Economic Development, both from Addis Ababa University.

Metti Edessa

senior analyst

Metti is a senior analyst at ACE Advisors. Her experiences on a project basis include led capacity building training program, provided technical support on manufacturing sector value chain analysis & policy recommendations, supported manufacturing sector export plan preparation with Industry Development Institutes. Metti will be responsible in her senior analyst role on leading the design, implementation and delivery of impact with support of lead advisor under assigned work-streams.

Metti has previously worked at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, AAU – Physics Department as a part time research assistant. Metti holds a BA in Financial Accounting from Addis Ababa University School of Commerce

Meletetsega Mesfin

junior analyst

Meletetsega is a junior analyst at ACE Investment & Impact Advisors. She is responsible for supporting the projects of ACE, insight write-up for the website, identifying and acquiring relevant research and data, conducting analysis, and performing quality control Build successful relationships and trust with various stakeholders including the government, private sector, donor/partners, and effectively engage these stakeholders in ACE’s focus areas. She brings a range of skills in communication, analytical, organizational and leadership.

Meletetsega previously worked with Jan Events, Spectacle Events(in partner with Flawless Event), International Foundation for Electoral Systems. Meletetsega holds a BA in Management and MA in Business Leadership both from Addis Ababa University School of Commerce.
